May 22
11:15 p.m. Suspicious vehicle. Pinecone Road. Officers noticed a running vehicle behind a closed business and stopped to investigate. The individual in the vehicle gave officers a false name, had warrants for their arrest and had paraphernalia and hypodermic needles in their possession. Officers also located another individual hiding in the business. Both were transported to Stearns County Jail.
May 23
1:15 a.m. Shoplifting. CR 120. Officers were dispatched to a business for three individuals who were concealing items. Officers stopped the individuals outside of the business in a vehicle. Multiple occupants of the vehicle had warrants and meth was found in the vehicle. All three were arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail.
May 24
6:25 p.m. Stolen vehicle. Evergreen Drive. An officer conducting a license-plate check found a stolen vehicle from St. Cloud. The officer stopped the vehicle and a motorcycle that appeared to be involved with the driver of the stolen vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle had a warrant for their arrest and was taken into custody. The driver of the stolen vehicle was taken into custody as well.
May 25
3 p.m. Animals. 15th Street S. Officers were dispatched to a call of ducklings trapped in a storm drain. Officers arrived and retrieved 11 ducklings from the storm drain. The ducklings were released into the local pond with other ducks.
May 26
9:45 a.m. Unconscious person. Seventh Street N. Officers were dispatched to a call involving a vehicle that was off the roadway in the grass and the driver was not responsive. Officers arrived and assessed the driver. The driver was having a medical issue and was transported to the hospital.
May 27
5:40 p.m. Agency assist. 27th Street N. Sartell officers aided another police agency on a call involving a violent juvenile. Officers arrived and met the combative teen. He was taken into custody after calming down.
May 28
8:25 a.m. Traffic stop. 2½ Street N. An officer on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. The officer conducted the stop and the driver stated they did not know they were going that fast. The officer issued a citation for the speed.
