The Sartell 11AAA Baseball team won the Consolation Championship in the 2019 11AAA MSF State Tournament in Sartell on July 26-28. In their final two games they beat Anoka 14-11 and Alexandria 7-3 to win the Consolation Championship.

Six players from Sartell Youth Hockey Association donated $1,000 to the Tri-County Humane Society. They raised the money during two days with a Lemonade Stand in Sartell. Many generous residents stopped to donate, totaling $500. SYHA sponsors Jacobs Financial and McKays Family Dodge made a matching donation to bring the total to $1,000. The boys delivered the donation on Aug. 18, taking time to visit the animals.

Approximately 100 Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math Corps tutors recently gathered to take the AmeriCorps pledge at the The Grands at Mulligans in Sartell. The ceremony officially kicks off the 2019-2020 St. Cloud/Sartell school year. Reading Corps and Math Corps are statewide initiatives that help approximately 35,000 students across Minnesota become successful in reading by the end of third grade and proficient in math by the end of eighth grade.
