A retired Albany High School administrator has been named interim principal at Sartell High School.
Tim Wege, who served as the Albany principal for 19 years before retiring in 2021, will be the high school’s interim principal beginning Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Wege replaces Sascha Hansen who resigned Jan. 3. The district is conducting a search for a permanent high school principal.
Wege was named the 2013 High School Principal of the Year from the Central Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principal.
