A 29-year-old St. Cloud male was traveling eastbound and was unable to slow or stop for the red light, stating it was due to a vehicle malfunction. The vehicle hit another vehicle, driven by an 85-year-old St. Joseph female, who was northbound and then struck the left-turn lane signal, located in the median, causing the pole to fall over and the male' s vehicle to start on fire. Minor injuries to the male were reported, however, he refused transport by Gold Cross Ambulance.
