“Annie,” presented by Great Northern Theatre Company, opens Friday, Aug. 3., at the Glanville Smith Auditorium in Rocori High School, Cold Spring.
Show times are 7 p.m. with 2 p.m. performances on Sunday, Aug. 5, and Sunday, Aug. 12.

The musical takes places in the 1930s. Annie is a fiery young orphan who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she is selected to spend a short time at the residence of the wealthy munitions industrialist, Oliver Warbucks.
