4:50 p.m. Theft. Callaway Street E. A woman reported that while she was in Las Vegas, her backpack was stolen. The report was forwarded to Las Vegas police.
Feb. 13
6:07 p.m. Fraud. Callaway Street E. A man reported a fraud attempt he received through Instagram. The man said a woman who he did not know contacted him and offered to help pay his credit card debt. She transferred $1,700 to a credit card. She provided different bank account numbers and all transactions cleared. Then she asked him to purchase gift cards from various places totaling $1,500. He declined. The man provided phone screen shots to police.
Feb. 14
9:29 a.m. Collision. CR 2 and CR 75. A driver heading east on CR 75 was stopped at a red light. A driver said he did not see the other vehicle stopped and struck the passenger rear side.
1:50 p.m. Collision with injuries. CR 2 and Minnesota Street W. A minivan and a Link bus collided.
5:06 p.m. Collision. Cypress Drive and Old Hwy. 52. A driver was traveling on Old Hwy. 52 when a second vehicle pulled out at Cypress Drive and the two vehicles collided.
Feb. 17
3:01 p.m. Crash with injuries. CR 75/CR 2 just east of College Avenue. Officers arrived to find a vehicle stuck on top of a snowbank on the shoulder. The man driving appeared unconscious. The man told officers he did not know where he was or how he crashed. Showing signs of a stroke. the man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.
3:53 p.m. Collision. CR 75 and CR 133. One vehicle was headed north crossing CR 75 onto CR 133. The second driver was headed east on CR 75 and slid through the intersection, striking the left rear of the first vehicle.
Feb. 20
7:29 a.m. Crash. College Avenue S. A driver was traveling south on College Avenue S. when her defroster quit working and her windshield fogged. She struck a mailbox, damaging her windshield and breaking off the passenger side mirror.
Feb. 22
1:01 a.m. Fight. College Avenue N. An officer saw people pushing, shoving and yelling outside the La Playette. The officer separated the parties and they were sent on their way.
