Sartell Senior Connection hosts Jigsaw Puzzle Contest April 27
A jigsaw puzzle contest, hosted by Sartell Senior Connection, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27 in the Sartell Community Center, 850 19th St. S. Teams of four or fewer will compete in a timed contest with all teams working on the same 500 piece puzzle. Registration fee is $20/team. Sartell Farmers Market indoor market April 6
Sartell Farmers Market will he having its last indoor market of the 2023/2024 winter season. We will be inside Sartell City Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Some of the great items available will be beef, chicken, eggs, caramel corn, canned goods, cookies, breads, craft items, and much more. Welcome in spring with great food, items only available at your local Farmers Market.
The Blue Line Sports Bar and Grill in Sartell will host a fundraiser and raffle for the Sartell Stone Poneys from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 14. The fundraiser is to help offset summer costs of umpires, field dues, equipment, uniforms, league fees and tournaments; a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Stone Poneys. Raffle tickets will be sold; you do not need to be present to win. There will be many great prize packages available to win. Mississippi River County Park sets solar eclipse event April 8
A solar eclipse viewing event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Mississippi River County Park, 41300 County Road 1, Rice. Gather at the open air picnic shelter for music, disc golf and corn hole games. Limited eclipse glasses will be available. No registration required. On April 8, a total solar eclipse will cross North America. It will be the last total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States until 2044. A total solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the sun and earth, completely blocking the face of the sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.
