Twenty-five Sartell students have been named to the spring dean’s list at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. They are the following: Luka Alexenko, Alexa Anderson, Summbla Anjum, Safaa Asif, Addison Bemboom, Margaret Fandel, Dylan Gerdes, Caroline Gruebele, Joshua Harrington, Emily Jelinski, Morgan Kirchner, Ella Krauel, Elaine Lo, Madison Loberg, Bang Ly, Kathryn Manning, Julianna Moore, Alexus Nguyen, Lauren Peterson, Jared Schlagheck, Maggie Schneider, Sophia Speckhard, Megan Stark, Zayda Thalacker and Nathan Warner. To qualify for the honor, students maintain a 3.66 grade-point average.

CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital was one of the 22 hospitals recognized this year in Minnesota by the American Heart Association for their work improving systems of care for heart disease and stroke patients. CentraCare earned an impressive nine awards this year.
Brenny Transportation Inc. was named 2023 Top Woman-Owned Businesses in Transportation in “Redefining the Road” magazine, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association. Criteria used to identify qualified applicants include majority ownership by a woman, financial stability and growth, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Each company was nominated and chosen based upon business success and accomplishments including those related to gender diversity.
Central Minnesota Housing Partnership Inc., Jugaad Leadership Program and Terebinth Refuge were awarded with grants from the Otto Bremer Trust in June and July.
Meleah Myhrwold of Sartell recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
