The Benton County Sheriff’s Office lobby is now open to the public. Lobby hours are 8-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
People who have been exposed to Covid-19 in the preceding 14 days or those who are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms are asked to refrain from entering the building. Floor markings, reduced seating capacity, increased sanitizing and other infection control strategies have been implemented in the lobby. All people entering the lobby are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet away from non-household members.
Permit to carry applicants will be required to submit applications to records staff during normal business hours because the drop box has been removed.
In order to minimize the number of people waiting in the lobby, inmate visits must be scheduled 24 hours before arriving. Appointments to visit an inmate may be made by calling 320-968-8180.
