Mike Bryant and his staff distributed 85 of 100 donated bike helmets to the Kidstop program at Kennedy Community School on Thursday, May 16.
Bryant’s firm, the Bradshaw and Bryant Law Office in St. Cloud, donated 100 helmets to the program after being contacted by Erika Jagiella.
Jagiella, manager of the Kidstop program, contacted the firm to see if they might be interested in donating the helmets. She said she had seen various park groups distribute helmets at bike events in the past and thought she would try to make it happen at Kennedy.
“He was wonderful and responded immediately,” Jagiella said.
Bryant said they have been part of statewide efforts in the past, but this was a good local effort.
“We want to make sure kids are safe and have their helmets,” Bryant said.
