Greg Rueter, Sartell
Mark Bromenschenkel has earned my vote for Stearns County District 2 commissioner.
The Stearns County commissioners are doing a phenomenal job of quietly going about their business and focusing on simply getting things done. The tax rate has fallen 7 percent since Bromenschenkel was elected six years ago; therefore, we know he is watching out for wasteful spending, and he is delegating our taxpayer dollars wisely. In addition to being county commissioner, Mark is on the Area Planning Organization Board, Central Minnesota Emergency Services Chaplaincy Board, Stearns County Extension Committee, Great River Regional Library Board of Trustees and Finance Committee, Stearns County Human Services Board, Stearns County Parks Board, Stearns County Planning Commission and the Tri-County Solid Waste Management Board. Even with such a wide array of commitments, he still exemplifies how an elected official should conduct oneself. This goes to show Mark’s obligation to our county. He takes the time to truly listen to his constituents and always considers both sides of a discussion before taking action. Bromenschenkel presents himself in a very professional and non-controversial way. Vote Bromenschenkel on Nov. 8.
