Please take notice the St. Stephen City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Jan. 6, 2021, at 7 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Sixth Ave. SE, to consider the adoption of the following ordinance:
96.13: PET WASTE. Any person being the owner of or having charge of any animal not confined to that person’s property shall immediately remove any feces deposited on public or private property. Any such person shall have in their possession a means to collect and dispose of all fecal matter in a waste receptacle.
Anyone wishing to comment will be heard at this hearing or you may send your written comments, which need to be received no later than Jan. 6, 2021 at 5 p.m.
