Traffic on Interstate Highway 94 will be reduced to one lane and intermittently closed in Monticello beginning Monday, Aug. 27.
The lane closures are needed while crews work on a bridge for the new overpass at Fallon Avenue.
Both directions of I-94 between Hwy. 25 and CR 18 will be intermittently reduced to a single lane at 9:30 p.m.
All lanes on one direction of I-94 will close will close for up to 15 minutes at a time, up to five times per night, for four to five nights, between 10:30 p.m. – 5 a.m.
There will be no lane or road closures over the Labor Day weekend from Friday night, Aug. 31 to Monday night, Sept. 3.
The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 14. All times and dates above are tentative, and dependent on weather.
