St. Cloud Hospital will celebrate its completion of a 360,000-square-foot addition along the banks of the Mississippi River with open houses from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 19 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20. The last tour begins one hour before the end of each open house.
Walking tours will focus on the following: New operating rooms, including the first endovascular operating room in Central Minnesota; surgical care area, highlighting patient room features in the expanded medical and neuro units; family birthing center; and intensive care unit.
A video that highlights these areas will be available for those unable to participate in the hour-long tour. Visitors are asked not to bring young children to the open house.
Parking is available in the hospital’s south ramp. Turn off of Sixth Avenue N. onto 12th Street N and follow the signs.
