The 11th annual “Wine, Kibbles and Bits” fundraiser for the Tri-County Humane Society will take place Friday, May 4 at the Gorecki Center on the campus of the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
The event will feature a full-course dinner, served at 7:30 p.m., wine and beer tasting, a silent auction and music by Preston and Paulzine. Auction items include a weekend getaway, watercolor prints, pottery, jewelry, hand-made quilts, photography packages and certificates for golf and spa visits. The silent auction starts at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds will help the humane society reach its goal of spaying and neutering all pets at the shelter before they are adopted. Each year, about 4,500 animals are surrendered to the animal shelter.
