Alcohol believed to be a factor in CR 2 crash

A St. Joseph man’s car ended up on its roof Oct. 13 after he said he swerved to avoid a deer.

Kyle Arthur Viehauser, 26, was driving south on CR 2 when he drove off the road and hit a field approach, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

Viehauser’s vehicle, a 2000 Buick Le Sabre, rolled on its roof after the crash at 7:43 p.m. in the 33000 block of CR 2 north of St. Joseph.

The Sheriff’s Office believes alcohol was a factor in the crash.
