Aug. 21

8:55 P.M. Domestic. Perimeter Drive. Officers arrived at a domestic assault call and arrested one individual. The individual was transported to Stearns County Jail.

Aug. 22

2:20 p.m. Shoplifting. CR 120. While on a shoplifter call, the shoplifter had multiple arrest warrants. The individual was arrested and transported to Stearns County Jail.

Aug. 23

8:30 a.m. Stolen vehicle. CR 120. An officer discovered a license plate that did not match the vehicle it was on. The driver fled from officers on foot. The driver was caught and had multiple arrest warrants. The driver was transported to Stearns County Jail.

Aug. 24

9:10 a.m. Traffic stop. CR 1. An officer spotted a vehicle driving with expired registration tabs. The officer stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver had a revoked license and could not produce proof of insurance. A driver was issued a citation for the infractions and a valid driver came to drive the vehicle.

Aug. 25

5:25 p.m. Traffic stop. Riverside Drive. An officer witnessed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit. The officer stopped the vehicle and gave the driver a verbal warning for speeding.

Aug. 26

8:55 a.m. Counterfeit. CR 120. A business reported counterfeit money. Officers took possession of the money and sent it to the Secret Service.

Aug. 27

5:50 a.m. DWI. Sixth Street S. Officers investigated a driving complaint about a vehicle following another vehicle around town. Officers stopped the vehicle and it was discovered the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to Stearns County Jail.
