Holdingford woman killed in collision on CR 133

A 30-year-old Holdingford woman was killed Dec. 17 in a collision at an intersection between Sartell and St. Joseph.

Casey Rose Myers was driving southeast on CR 4 had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of CR 133 and CR 4. After stopping, she drove through the intersection where her car was struck by a semi-tractor trailer heading toward Sartell on CR 133, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

The semi, driven by Corey William Planck, 46, of Star City, Ind., did not stop at the intersection. Planck was not injured.

He told deputies he did not see the stop sign, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The collision happened at 7:48 a.m.

Myers and her 5-month-old fetus did not survive the injuries sustained in the accident.
