The Sartell-St. Stephen school district invites the community to events throughout the week of Sept. 9 to celebrate the grand opening of the new Sartell High School. The week culminates with a ribbon cutting, dedication and tours on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The Grand Opening Community Celebration week includes several sporting events and kicks off Tuesday night, Sept. 10, with a keynote speech by award-winning author, motivational speaker and Sartell parent Kelly Radi. Radi’s presentation, “Unleashing your Inner Superhero,” focuses on the development of personal strength and resilience.
On Wednesday evening, there will be a Community Wellness Walk around the outdoor campus.
The first home football game is Friday, Sept. 13. The team is hoping for a “blue-out” of apparel in the stands as the team faces the Tech Tigers. The game will be at the varsity stadium at 627 Third Ave. N.
At the community tours on Sept. 14, students will serve as tour guides..

6 p.m., “Unleash your Inner Superhero”in the Sartell High School Performing Arts Center.*
6 p.m., Girls swimming.
Wednesday, Sept. 11
5:30 p.m., Community Wellness Walk.* Meet at the Concessions Building. This event is outdoors and, should the weather not cooperate, the walk will be canceled.
Thursday, Sept. 12
4:30 p.m., Girls tennis.
5 p.m., Girls soccer.
6 p.m., Girls swimming.
Friday, Sept. 13
7 p.m., Football.
Saturday, Sept. 14
11 a.m., Ribbon cutting; tours and other activities throughout the campus.*
2 p.m., Dedication ceremony.*
4 p.m., Tours and activities conclude
*Free events. Sporting events have their usual admissions charge.
