Filings open Tuesday, July 28, for candidates for the St. Joseph City Council and mayor.
Voters will elect a mayor for a two-year term. Two City Council seats are up for election. Council members serve four-year terms. Those seats are currently held by Troy Goracke and Bob Loso.
The filing period ends Tuesday, Aug. 11. The general election is Nov. 3.
