The funeral service for Donald P. Schneider, 92, of St. Joseph will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Schneider died Sept. 22 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. The Rev. Jerry Weiss will officiate. Inurnment with military honors will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church/Heritage Hall.
Survivors include his children, Mick of St. Joseph, Pat (Cindi) of St. Joseph, Barbara (Scott) Fritz of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Gerald “Bud” (Therese) of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
