Highway 10 open house scheduled for March 29 in Becker
Public invited to learn about project activities
The public is invited to attend an open house Thursday, March 29, to discuss the Highway 10 resurfacing project between Clear Lake and Big Lake. The open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the old Council Chambers at Becker City Hall, 12060 Sherburne Ave., Becker.
Project information will be on display and staff will be on hand to answer project-related questions. There will be no formal presentation.
The Highway 10 project is located in Sherburne County from Highway 24 in Clear Lake to Highway 25 in Big Lake. Work includes resurfacing 14 miles of westbound Highway 10 to preserve the lifespan of the road and create a smoother ride for motorists. The project also includes extending turn lanes at various intersections to enhance safety, paving shoulders and repairing or replacing culverts.
The project was scheduled to begin April 2, two weeks earlier than anticipated due to the mild winter weather, and be completed by late August.
