Across Minnesota House District 13A, from Kimball to Paynesville and up to Avon, Republican Jeff Howe of Rockville came out ahead of DFLer Emily Jensen of St. Joseph in the Nov. 4 election. Results gathered from the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website show voters chose Howe over Jensen by a vote of 8,562 to 5,572.
However, if voters in St. Joseph had decided the election, Jensen would be celebrating. In St. Joseph’s two precincts, Jensen actually came out ahead. Jensen beat Howe 406 to 216 in precinct 1, while it was much closer in precinct 2, 646 to 636.
In St. Joseph Township, Howe defeated Jensen 349-211.
