Here we are, “Getting what the American people voted for,” as so many of President Trump’s cabinet choices have stated.
I simply have to ask: Is this really what we want?
Government workers having to worry about their jobs simply because Elon Musk thinks they are not needed? Tariffs that will certainly raise our prices so the administration can look tough and try to get to an “equality” that seems undefined or unknown? Blanket judgments on groups of people that “shouldn’t” be here and the same for convicted criminals involved on Jan. 6 at the Nation’s Capitol building?
The list is long, as we all see and hear every day.
We are being forced to live in a fear-based era and if you do not share that fear yet, there will be a time when your beliefs or interests differ from those of our new administration. When that time comes, maybe it will resonate President Trump is not in it for us.
