Two St. Joseph students were among 110 students who recently received scholarships for the 2022-23 school year totaling more than $355,000 from the Central Minnesota Community Foundation in conjunction with CommunityGiving.
They are the following: Eleanor Pelzel, a student at Cathedral High School, $1,000 from the Andy and Carol Hilger Pro-Life Scholarship Fund; and Skye Bellmont, a student at ROCORI High School, $2,000 from the Miller Architects and Builders Industry Scholarship Fund.
Greta Stark-Kraker, executive director of CMCF said, “We are grateful to have donors in our region that truly see the value of supporting our area youth by helping provide scholarships. We know that by helping a student succeed in pursuing a higher education, we’ll see the benefits of that investment within our communities.”
