Readers for the blind
Looking for an opportunity to help the blind or print-disabled receive local news? Become a volunteer with Central Minnesota Audio Newspapers and read newspapers over a closed radio network that is part of the Radio Talking Book Network. Read one or two evenings a month. The schedule is flexible. A one-year commitment is desired. Volunteers must pass an oral reading test. Contact Rita at 320-293-2273 or [email protected].
Drivers needed to deliver Meals on Wheels
Become a Meals on Wheels driver! Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud is in great need of drivers in the St. Cloud area. Meals are picked up a Whitney Senior Center and drivers deliver 8-12 meals on average. Volunteers practice non-contact delivery and deliver each week a week’s worth of meals to each senior. Meals are delivered Mondays and Wednesdays with a pick-up time between 10:30-11:45 am. If you would like to volunteer as a driver, visit www.ccstcloud.org/volunteer or [email protected] or 320-650-1645 for more information.
