5:58 a.m. Open door. Minnesota Street E. Police called a keyholder and informed them of the situation.
9:07 p.m. Suspicious activity. Ridgewood Court. Caller stated they saw a vehicle driving around after hours. It was discovered it was an employee of the business. No issues.
June 22
5:19 p.m. Alarm. Cypress Drive. Homeowner was spoken with who stated an alarm in the basement was going off. Police stood with homeowner while waiting for St. Joseph Fire Department.
6:58 p.m. Vehicle crash. Graceview Drive. Received call to respond to assist with a vehicle crash. No injuries occurred.
June 23
7:36 a.m. Speed trailer. 4th Avenue S./Western Court. Police placed a speed trailer at the aforementioned address.
5:57 p.m. Lost property. College Avenue N. A credit card was turned in to the police department. The address of the cardholder came back to St. Joseph. Card was returned to cardholder.
June 24
10:30 a.m. Animal complaint. 1st Avenue S.W. Police arrived on the scene and advised bystander to take stray cat to the humane society.
11:25 p.m. Lost keys. CR 75 W. A set of keys was turned into the police at the movie-in-the-park event. Keys were placed in the found property bin in the property room.
June 25
1:37 a.m. Vehicle without permit. CR 75 W. Police observed a vehicle at a campsite without a permit. Yelling was heard in the woods behind the site. A male came out and stated he and his friends were staying there. They were intoxicated and advised to stay on site for the remainder of the night.
7:43 p.m. Texting while driving. CR 75/CR 133. Police observed female driver at a stoplight looking at her phone and texting. Driver was stopped and admitted to reading texts but not sending any. Citation was issued.
June 26
2:13 a.m. Noise complaint. College Avenue N. Report of a hissing/whistling noise coming from a local business. Police spoke with an employee who said it was a liquid nitrogen tank and in the summer it heats up and needs to bleed off some pressure. Employee assured authorities the noise is completely normal.
12:59 p.m. Suspicious vehicle. Ellie Court. Report of a 15-passenger van spotted near the aforementioned address. Female complainant thought driver of van was looking at her and her children. Female waited an hour after the van drove off to report incident.
June 27
1:50 a.m. DWI. Iverson Street W. Police stopped a truck for speeding, subsequently arresting the driver for a felony DWI.
1:10 p.m. Stolen mailbox. 8th Avenue SE. Report of stolen barn-shaped mailbox. Police have yet to find it. Complainant has replaced mailbox with a new one.
6:40 p.m. Burning complaint. Able Street E. Police received a complaint about burning illegal items. Police arrived on the scene to find a firepit emitting white smoke. Police spoke with male suspect who stated he was burning brush. Firepit was checked. Logs and sticks were found. Suspect was cleared.
