Two St. Joseph students recently graduated from Bemidji State University.
They are the following: Jaclyn Johnson, bachelor’s degree in psychology, and Shelbi Keehr, bachelor’s degree in elementary teacher education.
Five St. Joseph students recently graduated from St. Cloud State University.
They are the following: Abdishukri Abdi, master’s degree in public administration; Hodan Ahmed, bachelor’s degree in early childhood education; Samantha Bray, bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude; Amanda Burton, bachelor’s degree in technology management, magna cum laude; and Ashley Grise, bachelor’s degree in graphic design, cum laude.
Thirteen St. Joseph students were recently named to the dean’s list at St. Cloud State University.
They and their majors are as follows: Amanda Burton, technology management; Hunter Harnett, biomedical sciences; Mitchell Hieserich, philosophy; Heather Kirchner, elementary/K-6 education; Brandon Kresky, management; Tabitha Masterjohn, psychology; Elizabeth Meyer, marketing; Taylor Nordine, nursing; Meet Patel, electrical engineering; Kayla Petroski, PSEO; Breeana Schmidt, PSEO; Olivia Smith, social work; and Lilian Zack, communication sciences and disorders.
To be eligible for the honor, students must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.75.
Brenny Specialized Inc. from St. Joseph was presented a 2021 platinum award by Great West Casualty Company as part of Great West’s annual National Safety Awards program.
Ethan Gohmann of St. Joseph was recently named to the spring dean’s list at Alexandria Technical & Community College.
Haley Reed of St. Joseph was recently named to the spring dean’s list at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter.
Central Minnesota Community Foundation recently awarded a total of $182,695 to the following organizations: The Yes Network, GREAT Theatre, WACOSA, Avon Hills Folk School, Paramount Center for the Arts, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota, Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity, Central Minnesota Sustainability Project, College of St. Benedict, Too Much Talent, Recovery Community Network, Centra Sota Somali Women, Friends of Career Solutions, The Village Family Service Center and Junior Achievement North.
Hannah Wieber of St. Joseph recently graduated with a degree in social work from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She was also named to the spring dean’s list.
