June 7
6:14 a.m. Welfare check. First Street N.E./12th Avenue E. Officers were dispatched to a report of a male lying on the side of the roadway. Officers arrived on scene and found the male conscious and wet from the waist down. The male was very random with his speech and was curled into the fetal position. Gold Cross Ambulance arrived and transported the male to the St. Cloud Hospital. The male appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance because of his behavior.
12:25 p.m. Domestic. Greenwood Lane. Officers were dispatched to a residence for a domestic. A neighbor called and could hear adults yelling and children screaming for help. Officers arrived on scene and met with an adult female party. Officers also discovered a juvenile male ran off during the argument. Officers located the juvenile male. Officers took statements from an adult female and male. It was decided charges would not be filed.
11:09 p.m. Medical. Brianna Drive. Officers were dispatched for an 88-year-old female party who had fallen. Officers arrived on scene along with Gold Cross Ambulance. Officers assisted paramedics with loading the female party into the ambulance. The female was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
June 8
5:32 a.m. Medical. Connecticut Avenue. Officers were dispatched for an adult male party who had fallen after entering Perkins. The caller stated he was breathing. Officers arrived on scene and located the male inside the restaurant. The male was sweaty and pale. He also didn’t respond right away to officers. Officers administered high-flow oxygen via a non-rebreather mask. When Gold Cross Ambulance arrived on scene, officers assisted paramedics with loading the male into the ambulance. The male was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
5:14 p.m. Suspicious activity. Riverside Avenue S. Officers were dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to two people possibly shoplifting. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant. She stated she witnessed two females attempting to conceal merchandise in their purses. Officers met with the two females attempting to exit the store. The females stated they didn’t steal anything. With consent officers searched the female’s purses and found drug paraphernalia in one of the purses. Officers issued a citation for drug paraphernalia. Both were served with trespass forms.
10 p.m. Suspicious vehicle. 11th Avenue E. Officers were dispatched for a suspicious van parked between two garages. Homeowners didn’t recognize the van. Officers arrived on scene and found the van unoccupied. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone.
June 9
1:12 a.m. Traffic stop. CR 1/Hwy 15. While on routine patrol an officer witnessed a vehicle make an illegal U-turn. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver had a valid license and proof of insurance. The driver was warned for the illegal U-turn and released.
3:44 p.m. Theft. Seventh Avenue S. While on routine patrol, an officer was notified of a female party who wished to report a theft from her home. The officer met with the female at the Sartell Police Department. The female stated she recently had people over for a dinner party, some of whom she didn’t know. She stated her prescription oxycodone was stolen sometime during the evening. The female was unable to identify a suspect. The officer advised the woman to call back if she discovers any more information.
9:51 p.m. Suspicious activity. 18th Street NW/Oak Pond Drive. Officers were dispatched to a report of a female being chased by a dog. Officers arrived in the area and spoke with the female. The dog was still following her. Animal control arrived and took possession of the dog. Officers noticed the female acted like she was under the influence of an unknown substance. The female denied taking any drugs. The female was able to care for herself in her current state so she was allowed to leave.
June 10
12:16 p.m. No pay. Riverside Avenue S. Officers were dispatched to the Holiday Gas Station in reference to a gas drive-off. The store was able to provide a plate number for the vehicle. Officers made contact with the registered owner. The male party confirmed he filled up at the gas station. He stated he used his credit card at the pump, but did not request a receipt. The man stated he would contact Holiday and take care of the unpaid gas.
6:25 p.m. Medical. Third Avenue N. Officers were dispatched for a 5k runner having heat exhaustion. The 37-year-old female was overheated, pale and had almost fainted. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the female. The female was given bottles of water to cool down. Officers monitored the woman’s condition until Gold Cross Ambulance arrived.
10:25 p.m. Noise complaint. Fourth Avenue E. Officers were dispatched for a semi-truck that had been running for a few hours. A neighbor called wanting officers to check it out. Officers arrived on scene and located the driver of the semi-truck. Officers advised him of the noise complaint. Officers also advised the man he was violating the city ordinance by parking the vehicle in a residential neighborhood. The man apologized and agreed to move the vehicle.
June 11
1:30 a.m. Traffic stop. Bechtold Drive/Fourth Street N. While on routine patrol an officer witnessed a vehicle make several turns and pull off on the side of the road suspiciously. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon speaking with the driver, it was determined that the driver was lost. The officer escorted the driver to their destination.
12:46 p.m. Accident. Hwy 15. Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash. Sartell Reserve Officers were first on scene and provided C-spine for one of the female drivers. Officers arrived on scene and provided medical attention and assisted paramedics. The female was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
5:57 p.m. Medical. Oak Pond Drive. Officers were dispatched for a 78-year-old diabetic female who couldn’t walk and felt faint. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the female who was in a seated position and had high blood sugar. She stated she had not been eating regularly and had not been taking her medications regularly. Officers administered oxygen and gathered patient health information. Officers also monitored the female’s condition until Gold Cross Ambulance arrived.
June 12
12:49 a.m. Alarm. CR 120. Alarm. Officers were dispatched to Wireless World for an audible burglary alarm. Officers located the north door open. Officers cleared the building of any persons. The store appeared intact. Officers were able to secure the open door. Keyholders were advised of officers’ response.
10:46 a.m. Motorist assist. Third Street S. An officer was dispatched for a vehicle unlock. The officer arrived on scene and located the driver. The female driver stated she had lost her keys and needed items out of her vehicle. The officer was able to unlock the driver’s door of the vehicle.
5:05 p.m. Traffic stop. Riverside Avenue S./Edgewater Lane. While on routine patrol, an officer witnessed a vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed. The officer clocked the vehicle at 54 mph in a 40-mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver admitted she knew the speed limit and advised the officer she was running late. The driver provided a valid driver’s license but was unable to provide proof of insurance. The driver was cited for the violations and released.
June 13
7:29 a.m. Medical. Seventh Street N. Officers were dispatched for a 66-year-old female with difficulties breathing. Officers arrived on scene and administered oxygen. Officers monitored her condition until Gold Cross Ambulance arrived. The female party was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
6:46 p.m. Noise complaint. King’s Way. Officers were dispatched for a report of a mini-bike driving in the area with a loud muffler and speeding. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the driver. The male party stated it was a friend’s bike and he was just out for a ride. Officers asked the man to return the bike to its owner. Officers made contact with the owner of the bike and advised him the bike is not street legal and therefore should not be ridden on the street.
10:40 p.m. Noise complaint. Sixth Avenue S. Officers were dispatched to a report of a loud party. Upon arrival, officers found a few people in a hot tub behind the residence. Officers advised partiers of the complaint. They apologized and stated they would quiet down.
