Kevin Kluesner will be sworn in March 1 as the newest member of the St. Joseph City Council. He was appointed following interviews Feb. 18 with eight candidates who vied for an open seat.
The council has the authority to appoint any individual who is eligible for election to the office and has set precedent with this process to fill previously open seats.
Kluesner will serve the remainder of the term ending Dec. 31, 2022, which was vacated in January 2021.
He is a graduate of St. John’s University, a financial advisor with Ledge Wealth Management in Sartell and the founder of St. Joseph-based Kluesner Financial.
