March 13

10:55 p.m. DWI. Second Street S. An officer witnessed a vehicle with multiple violations. The officer stopped the vehicle and conducted field sobriety tests. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Stearns County Jail.

March 14

11:10 p.m. Domestic. Perimeter Drive. Officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence. One of the residents told officers they had been assaulted by another resident. Officers collected evidence and took the other individual into custody. Officers transported the person to Stearns County Jail.

March 15

4:10 p.m. Stalled vehicle. Pinecone Road. An officer received a call about a stalled vehicle in an intersection. The officer helped push the vehicle out of the intersection to a safer spot to wait for the driver’s brother to arrive and help.

March 16

9:25 a.m. Traffic stop. CR 1. An officer going through an intersection had to stop quickly to avoid a collision with a vehicle that went through a red light. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver admitted to running the red light. The officer cited the driver for the infraction.

March 17

11:25 p.m. Argument. Sunset Avenue. Officers went to a residence about an unwanted party. Officers separated the two individuals. One of the individuals had an order for protection against the other. The officers arrested the individual for violating the order for protection and transported the person to Stearns County Jail.

March 18

2:40 p.m. Traffic stop. Riverside Avenue S. An officer conducting a routine plate check discovered the owner of a vehicle had a suspended license. The driver matched the description of the owner so the officer stopped the vehicle. The driver did have a suspended license and could not provide proof of insurance. The officer cited the driver for both infractions.

March 19

7:30 a.m. Traffic stop. Pinecone Road N. An officer stopped a vehicle for not having a child in the proper child-safety-restraint system. The officer cited the driver for the infraction.
