Write to Political Prisoners in Russia, 1-3 p.m., St. Cloud Public Library (Bremer Room), 1300 W. St. Germain St., St. Cloud. Prisoners getting letters receive better treatment because guards know prisoners aren’t alone. Letters are sent electronically and anonymously to a secure portal in Russia, and prisoners are able to write back. Reply letters are translated and returned to the original “pen pal” writers.
