Sept. 25

7:30 p.m. Domestic. Amber Avenue S. A loud argument was reported at a residence. The officers spoke with both parties and it was determined no threats or violence had taken place. One of the residents agreed the best course of action was to leave for the evening.

Sept. 26

1:30 a.m. Traffic stop. Eighth Avenue S. An officer stopped a vehicle for equipment violations and noticed a shotgun shell in the vehicle. The driver was an individual not allowed possession of ammunition and was taken into custody for the infraction. The driver was transported to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 27

8:30 a.m. Warrant. CR 120. An officer stopped an individual on a bike who road through a stop light. Talking with the individual, the individual told the officer they had a warrant out of Wisconsin. The individual was also in possession of hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia. The individual was cited for the needles, paraphernalia and failing to obey a traffic signal. The individual was arrested for the warrant and transported to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 28

10:45 p.m. DWI. CR 1. A citizen reported a driving complaint about a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and witnessed driving infractions. Stopping the vehicle, the officer noticed signs of impairment. The driver failed the field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. The driver was transported to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 29

3:30 p.m. Shoplifting. DR 120. A business reported a cooperative shoplifter. The officers discovered the individual in question had multiple warrants for their arrest. The officers took the individual into custody for the warrants and cited them for the theft. Officers transported the person to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 30

10:35 p.m. Domestic. Fifth Street N. Officers were notified of a domestic situation that happened in Sartell from Stearns County deputies at St. Cloud Hospital. Officers met with the victim at the hospital and then with the suspect at the location of the incident in Sartell. Officers took the individual into custody and transported to Stearns County Jail.

Oct. 1

9:05 a.m. Suspicious vehicle. Riverside Avenue N. An officer saw a suspicious vehicle parked in a park. Upon further investigation the officer found two sleeping individuals in the vehicle. The officer warned the two individuals about park hours and sleeping in vehicles. The individuals left the park.
