Aug. 11
4:50 a.m. Alarm. CR 75 W. Police responded to an alarm at a local business. Upon arrival, authorities noticed a semi-truck in the parking lot. The driver stated he had accidentally set the alarm off. The area was cleared, and no further action was taken.
5:14 a.m. Suspicious person. Second Avenue SW. Officers were dispatched after a report of an individual taking pictures of a house as well as digging through the resident’s mailbox. The individual could not be found, but the incident was logged.
Aug. 12
3:26 a.m. Suspicious person. CR 75/CR 134. Police responded to a report of a suspicious person walking alongside the road in dark clothing. Authorities identified the individual, who stated he had come from Sauk Rapids and was walking to Richmond. He was checked for weapons and transported to his destination.
4:25 p.m. Medical. Minnesota Street W. Officers responded to a woman who had fallen. Upon arrival, the woman was sitting on her living room floor. She stated she had fallen into the bathtub a few hours prior and had crawled out to the living room. She was experiencing pain on her right side. Gold Cross Ambulance arrived and transported her to St. Cloud Hospital.
Aug. 14
5:28 p.m. Accident. CR 75/I94. Police responded to an accident involving a single motorcycle and one rider. The only injuries seemed to be road rash. Deputies and rescue arrived on the scene. State Patrol said they would write an accident report. The area was cleared.
Aug. 16
5:32 a.m. Alarm. CR 75 W. Officers were dispatched to an alarm. Upon arrival, a man stated he had put in the wrong code at first. No further action was taken.
