The City of Sartell is looking for a volunteer to serve on the Sartell Planning Commission.
The commission consists of five Sartell residents and serves as an advisory board to the Sartell City Council. Meetings take place at 6 p.m. the first Monday of the month (or as needed) at Sartell City Hall.
The duty of the Sartell Planning Commission is to provide recommendations to the city council on the physical development of the city and also to consider and make recommendations on land-use and zoning matters.
Terms for commission members are three years, with the ability to be re-appointed for an additional two terms.
Applications deadline is Friday, May 27. City council will interview candidates from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday June 7-9 and then the council will make its formal approval on Monday, June 13.
