I’ve watched both political conventions beginning to end on C-Span network. While both parties put on a good show, it was the Democrats who showed me they were far better prepared at presenting what they attempted to communicate to us and did it well. The Republican Party used some outlandish claims in attempting to bring their message forward, blaming President Obama for a multitude of errors since becoming president. Using false accusations to gain a political edge does not set well with the voting public.
When confronted with Republican false accusations, they still claim what they have depicted our president of doing as being the truth. The disrespect of the position of the presidency of the United States is despicable and downright shameful.
While reading and hearing many conversations the past few months about both parties, I’ve heard a very good quote from a person I read a comment from about this year’s political process and I quote: “The Republicans protect from conception to birth, and the Democrats protect from birth to death.”
That pretty much sums up the position of both parties today.
