A public hearing about a conditional-use permit for a proposed events center in Collegeville is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Collegeville Township Hall, 27724 County Road 50, Cold Spring.
The request for the conditional-use permit was submitted by “Ward Family Farm, LLC.” That entity plans to convert an existing barn into an events center for such purposes as wedding receptions, banquets, holiday gatherings, corporate retreats, winter sleigh rides, small concerts, farmers’ markets and more.
The barn and property surrounding it are located in Section 15 of Collegeville Township, along County Road 50.
In addition, the developer would like to include activities on the grounds around the barn and other structures for such uses as bonfires, car shows, art shows and music festivals.
People may submit written testimony opposing or in support of the conditional-use permit now and at any time up to the time of the Nov. 22 public hearing. Send testimony to Collegeville Township, 27724 CR 50, Cold Spring, MN 56320.
