I wanted to write to show support for Jim Read for state representative. I’ve known Jim for 30 years and I really like that he is thoughtful, kind and knows how to listen. The mudslinging in this election has been really bothering me. Jim has knocked on more than 8,500 doors in our district and he has listened with interest and courtesy to what people have to say and he has not engaged in any derogatory campaigning.
I feel it’s time we bring civility back to politics. I know Jim cares about us regular people, about farmers, small-business people, about seniors, about people who need health care and people who support education. What’s more, I know even when he and I don’t agree, he listens to my opinion with an open mind.
I ask you vote for Jim Read on Election Day. He will make a good representative who will represent us all.
