As business owners in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District, we know there are many things that make up great communities, but one of the key components is great schools. Sartell-St. Stephen has a strong history of excellent schools, which we need to continue to support to have a strong, vibrant community.
In May of 2016, our communities approved a bond to build a new high school. At that time, the district was clear they would need to ask for an operating levy when the building was opened. This operating levy is needed to pay for the costs associated with the additional square footage and grounds for the new building. Nov. 6 is your opportunity to vote to support that operating levy.
This levy is necessary to continue to educate our kids at the level of excellence we expect from Sartell-St. Stephen schools. We have built a great new facility in our district. Now we all need to support the levy so the school district has the additional resources to utilize this building as well as the rest of our buildings to their full potential.
Join us in continuing to build a strong, vibrant community by supporting our excellent schools and vote “YES” on the operating levy on Nov. 6.
