Richard “Dick” C. Schneider, 77, of Corinth, N.Y., died Nov. 16. His funeral was held Nov. 20 at William J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Burial with military honors was in the Gerald B.H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y.

Schneider was born in St. Joseph, Minn., on Dec. 5, 1940, to Herman “Bootie” and RoseMarion “Mac” (Loso) Schneider. After high school, he entered the U.S. Navy. He married Donna M. (Jolly) on May 1, 1965 in St. Joseph. Schneider served our country for 25 years and retired as lieutenant commander in 1984. He became building inspector for Greenfield Center focusing his engineering skills in overseeing building construction and installation of wood flooring.

Survivors include the following: his wife; daughter Cinda Schneider; siblings, Bob and Joyce of Plymouth, Minn., Tom and Margie of Stockton, Calif., Roseann and Mark Mjolhus of St. Cloud; Joe and Loreen Schneider of Calistoga, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
