Sartell-St. Stephen School District Superintendent Jeff Ridlehoover has submitted his resignation to take on a new job as superintendent of Rockford Area Schools.
That news was learned by the Sartell-St. Stephen Newsleader just before press-time deadline. At that time, no more information was available. There will be more details in an upcoming edition of this newspaper.
Rockford is located about 35 miles west of Minneapolis. Its schools have a total population of about 1,600 and a staff of 110. Ridlehoover will continue his job in Sartell through this school year and begin at Rockford on July 1, 2023.
In December of last year, Ridlehoover was one of two finalists for the superintendent position in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. The other applicant, Cory McIntire of the Osseo School District, was ultimately hired for that job.
