Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane . . .
The City of Sartell will welcome back Santa on his tour of Sartell on Thursday, Dec. 22.
Santa will be busy delivering donations collected by Santa’s Helpers in the afternoon and then will team up with the Sartell Police Department and Sartell Fire Department and get cozy in the bucket of the Tower 21 fire truck to begin his town tour.
Santa and his elf plan to depart the Sartell Public Safety Facility at about 5:30 p.m. that day Please follow the Sartell Fire Department’s Facebook page for the official start time and live updates throughout the route.
This year Santa will be looping through a few larger parking lots, which are listed on the route map with a star. Santa’s team will be Facebooking live at each parking lot. He will not be stopping but simply driving through and then back to the route. The parking lot locations are as follows: Val Smith Park, St. Francis Xavier north parking lot, Coborn’s Riverside mini-mall, Celebration Lutheran Church, Sartell High School, Pinecone Central Park, Celebration Park, Sartell City Hall, Coborn’s Marketplace mall and the Boy Scouts of America headquarters (Santa will not loop into the parking lot of this location).
