A Sartell man fortunately escaped injuries during a two-vehicle car crash April 10 in St. Wendel Township.
Timothy Elness, 57, was checked for injuries and was released at the scene. A St. Joseph woman also escaped injuries in the crash. She, too, was released after a check for possible injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

The accident occurred at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
Deputies learned Sara Allen, 30, of St. Joseph, was driving a 2014 Dodge Caravan when she stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of CR 133 and 322nd Street. There were vehicles in the turn lane to turn eastbound on 322nd Street, and after stopping, Allen advanced through the stop sign. A 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E, driven by Timothy Elness, 57, of Sartell, was traveling northbound on CR 133 when it struck Allen’s vehicle.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the St. Joseph Fire Department, All Care Towing and Mayo Ambulance service.
