A Sartell woman incurred minor injuries on the morning of March 2 when the vehicle she was driving struck a parked vehicle and then the garage at a residence in the 1800 block of Riverside Avenue in Le Sauk Township.
Officers on scene determined the driver, Gemma Webster, 56, of Sartell, had minor injuries and her passenger, Gemma Blaskowski, 51, of Waite Park was uninjured. Through further investigation deputies learned Webster was learning to drive and had confused the pedals.
The Sartell Fire Department assisted with supervising the removal of the vehicle from the garage for structural integrity concerns. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sartell Police Department, Sartell Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance.
