An innovation born of necessity during last spring’s COVID-19 lockdown will return this year for Sartell High School seniors.
The Senior Salute, featuring a parade on Pinecone Road, will take place Friday, June 4.
Seniors will be lined up 15 to 20 feet apart on the walking path along Pinecone Road, and family will be able to drive the parade route.
This event is only open to those who register. To participate, register by completing the form at the link below. Because of space limitations, organizers limited participation to family (two cars), school staff and other invited guests.
Parents/ guardians of graduates may register their vehicles using this link;
The parade will start at 15th Street N. and run to 27th Street N.
Schedule:
6:30 pm. Pinecone Road closed from 12th Street N. to 27th Street N.
6:30-7 p.m. Seniors arrive on Pinecone Road.
7 p.m. Seniors set on walking path, socially distanced.
7:30 p.m. Parade begins.
9:15 p.m. Estimated end.
9:30 p.m. Fireworks at Sartell High School, sponsored by Liberty Bank, for graduates and their families.
Event organizers advise participants to adhere to the rules of social distancing. No restrooms will be available.
