The College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University recently announced Carol Bruess, Ph.D., as its new scholar in residence for relationships and dialogue. In this role, Bruess will center Benedictine values and practices while using evidence-based research to foster relationships, conversations and human flourishing in both communities, across Minnesota and beyond. Bruess, wife of CSB and SJU president Brian Bruess, is a renowned professor emeritus, social scientist and author.
Great River Children’s Museum has hired Kelly Doss as its new development director. She will lead all fundraising efforts to support the museum’s programs and operations. Doss has more than 12 years of experience working in fund development and community engagement roles in the nonprofit sector. She has bachelor’s degrees in political science and psychology and a master’s in politics.
