On July 8, at approximately 10:47 a.m., the Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a call of a single-vehicle rollover at the address of 25740 CR 2 in Rockville. Stearns County deputies and Mayo Ambulance Service responded to the crash scene.
Upon arrival deputies observed a 2010 Ford F150 with heavy damage in the south ditch. The two occupants of the vehicle had minor injuries. Carson Schmidt, 16, of St. Joseph and Emersyn Schmidt, 14, of St Joseph were cleared at the scene by Mayo Ambulance. Deputies determined the F150 had been traveling eastbound on CR 2 approaching a curve when the vehicle continued straight off the road striking a driveway before rolling and coming to rest in a corn field.
