When Riverview Intermediate School students returned from fall break, they found a new playground on the northeast side of the school.
Volunteers and staff joined staff from Midwest Playscapes to build the playground over the break. The school’s 900 students needed more than one playground to add to the one on the west side of the school. A committee of teachers looked at various playground equipment pieces and discussed suitable locations. A combination of district money and donations funded the new playground manufactured by Playworld.
