A St. John’s Prep School team was champion at the central Minnesota Knowledge Bowl invitational that took place Jan. 18 at Eden Valley-Watkins.
The meet included 52 teams that competed in varsity and junior-varsity divisions. Competition included a 60-question written round and four 45-question oral rounds.
St. John’s Prep Team 1, with students Evan Morrison, Tom Skahen, Alivia Tacheny and Steph Haeg, placed first at the varsity level. Sartell Team 1 placed second and Albany Team 1 placed third.
St. John’s Prep placed first and second, and Sartell placed third at the junior-varsity level.
