The Country Manor Health Care Center and Rapid Recovery and Aquatic Center hosted its 13th annual Hometown Christmas Event on Dec. 8. Hundreds of family members and friends of Country Manor residents and guests gathered in celebration of the most treasured holiday of the year, Christmas, a time of togetherness and love, for families and friends to bond and rejoice, and to share the wonderful gifts of fellowship and faith.

The joy that Christmas brings was truly felt by everyone at this year’s Hometown Christmas celebration. The harmonious sounds of Christmas carolers strolling the halls, Granite City Sound performing in the Chapel, and local musicians playing traditional Christmas songs rang throughout the Health Care Center. While visitors listened to the delightful sounds of Christmas they enjoyed cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, performances by dancers from the North Crest Activity Center, an array of palate-pleasing food prepared by the executive chef, and horse-drawn trolley rides around campus.

The Hometown Christmas event exhibits Country Manor’s true dedication to their mission of enriching the lives of the people they serve.
